The Rododendro Residence is in a privileged position; in the dolomiten of Trentino, the first ski-lift is only at about 100 m from the residence and is part of the "Ski Area Tre Valli" carousel. It's so called because it allows to ski across Val di Fossa, the San Pellegrino Valley and the Biois Valley, it extends itself to the very centre of the Dolomitic Trentine and Venete, hence it's surrounded by outstanding peaks such as the Marmolada to the north, the Pale of  S. Valentino to the south and the Catinaccio to the west. "Col Margherita", this prestigious cableway can in fact take 101 passengers aboard and allow you to go up from a height of 1900m to 2513m. It's also possible to do cross-country skiing. With its 20 kilometres of slopes the centre of Alochet allows to take to the snow right from november thus it's greatly sought after by athletes. The right mix of sport and fun activities consent to spend unforgettable days in one of the Dolomitic jewels. The ski area offers 27 ski-lifts, 100km of different types of slopes garanteed up to 95% by the artificially programmed snow cover, and a paradise of off-trail tracks to satisfy even the most demanding skiers.

It's also possible to spend pleasent time out of the common slopes and trails reaching for hidden shelters by practical footpaths or by horse sledges.
