The  Fassa  Valley and  the San Pellegrino Pass

The first village near Residence Rododendro is Moena.

La neve e le bianche montagne della val di fassa sono un elemento delle settimane bianche del trentinoMOENA is the first village you'll come to once you've reached Val Di Fassa. This village is also called "the Dolomitic Fairy" thanks to its charming mountain atmosphere. Its small alleys and lanes are still intact and the buildings have undergone restauration following local traditions (like all other places in the valley), all of which greatly contributes to make a holiday spent here a unique and unforgettable experience.

A typical attraction is the ice statue which every year in December is carved in the main square, another typical sight worth seeing are the ice fountains along the banks of the village stream.

Il Rio Sanpellegrino, Percorre la valle dai monti ai piedi del col margherita e di Cima Uomo fino alla val di fassa From Moena onwards begins the splendid San Pellegrino Valley, one of the most impressive in the area which takes , after about 11 km, to Passo San Pellegrino (1910 m high ), which is where the Rododendro Residence is situated.

Situated south of the Marmolada massif, among the passes Rolle, Carezza, Sella, Pordoi and Valles, the San Pellegrino Pass is one of the most beautiful, wide and sunny highlands of the dolomitic valleys.

In this contest nature is the real protagonist : the area is surrounded by large fields and wonderful woodland which are also the starting point for excursions....
